Kind of like Hanukkah only with 101 Nights

OK, not really.  It’s nothing like that at all.

But first - how are YOU?  No, really, how the heck are you?

I’m fine.  Actually, I’m better than fine - I’m awesome!  I got a good groove going at work, I got a good groove going at home, and I’m closer and closer to scheduling a surgery date to assist me in losing this weight once and for all.  Life is sweet.

Plus?  I got a new stove - the Maytag Gemini with two (count them - two) ovens.  There is the big main one and then this little one on top of the big one.  And in the little one, I can set it to make TOAST.  Just think, I could probably make 36 slices of toast at one time in this thing!  I’m thinking of having a toast party - would you come?  You can choose whether you want to be on the Grape Jelly team with my husband or the Strawberry Jam team with me.  (We choose which of the children are our favorites based upon when fruit spread they like on their toast… it’s WAR, man, I’m tellin’ you.)

So what could be better, right?

Well, if you’re my husband, you might say “Well, there could always be more sex.”

But no - there could not possibly be more sex.  Why?  Because his birthday was June 30th and I gave him for his special day the promise of 101 nights of great sex.  I mean, how great of a wife am I?  101 nights!  We’re on night 12 now and it’s going great.  Well, perhaps I walk a little funny, but otherwise…

You know, having no possibility of pregnancy really does make me feel less inhibited and more adventurous.  It’s so weird to me to think that we’re embarking on this challenge when just last year, I think I would have stabbed him in the eyeball if he had suggested it.  Well, let’s be realistic - I might have stabbed him in the eyeball if he had suggested it 13 days ago - the only way this is a go is because it was MY idea.  But still - what a great birthday gift to give the Horniest Man in the World.

Now I’m already stressing about how I can possibly measure up in any future birthday gift endeavor, ya know?

What else?

Sarah turns 12 tomorrow and Bill says it’s an extra special birthday because we’re exactly 2/3rds the way to getting rid of her!  My girlies have been really busy this summer with camps and softball and activities.  We had a big ass redneck family vacation in Branson a few weeks ago - parents and siblings and spouses and plenty of nieces and nephews.  It was a blast!

So what’s up with you, gentle readers?  Anything you would like to share?  How about this - if you are a blogger, then post a link to a recent blog post and I will ask all my readers (both of them!) to come visit you at your blog by clicking that link.  And they’ll listen to me too - because I lead a charmed life and everything goes my way!

Cheers!
