Nothing to See Here…

The first week in March is Dr. Seuss week, as his birthday was March 2nd.  In honor of one of my favorite authors of children’s books, I submit the following for your amusement.  Feel free to point and laugh.  I can take it.  After the ridicule of being a Croc wearer, my skin is thick. (And yet lightweight! And a little rubbery, but with holes for breathing!  Just like Crocs!) 

Do you like my brand new Crocs?

Do you like them with these socks?

Would you wear them to your work?

Would you wear them with a smirk?

Would you wear them to the store?

Pink ones! Blue ones!  Buy some more.

Do you like the Mary Janes?

Will they cure your foot ache pains?

Would you buy the woolly kind?

Do you find them so refined?

I will now wear my Crocs with pride.

I will look down and watch my stride.

I do so like this Croc-y flair!

Try them, try them if you dare!

You will so love their lightweight feel

Submit to their mass appeal!

You may wear them to the mall

You’ll walk with ease - you will not fall!

And you can wear them on a train

And you can wear them on a plane

And you can wear them here or there

Yes, you can wear them everywhere!

You can buy them in a box

And you can wear them with your socks

You will love them everyday

Try them and you may, I say!

I do so love my woolly Crocs.

This footwear trend just truly rocks.
