If I can’t dazzle you with my brilliant wit…

… the least I can do is distract you with beauty.

Behold, the power of three.  Finally, at three years old, baby Rae-Rae cooperates for her portraits.  And the results are stunning.

Oh Linda–look at that little tan imp! She’s beautiful and the pix are perfect. What’d you bribe her with?

    I promised her a pony.

I mean, I started with candy but she wasn’t buying that so I had to up the ante. I was being very facetious and said “I’ll give you a pony!” and she totally latched onto that. I almost panicked - where would we keep a pony, right? But thinking quick on my feet, I recovered by clarifying that I meant a MY LITTLE PONY toy.

    I am brilliant. I know.

so cute! Did you spend a million dollars on prints? I blow my budget everytime my kids cooperate for the photographer.

Melani, I went to SEARS this time and I want to give them a glowing endorsement - they did a GREAT job and no, I only spent about $60 on prints. What’s even more, that amount covers TWO sessions, the ones you see posted above of Raena and then another session with all three of my Littles in their red-white-and-blue outfits. I guess I should post those two.

But I had a coupon that gave me sheets for $2.99 each after you bought the first six at regular price. So I got a dozen or so sheets and it was 60-some-odd dollars. (And then I bought the CD, too. haha)

For the past 5 years or so, I’ve been going to Picture People and really, they’ve not done anything special for me in a long long time. I’m glad I tried Sears again.

    Maybe I’ll post the red-white-and-blue ones too…

She looks like a little pixie! What an adorable little girl! I love all her beautiful hair.

Let us know how three is. I’m facing my little girl being three in the middle of August, and to be perfectly honest, I’m scared!
