I scream, you scream, we all scream….
Walking through the mall, we saw one of those Dippin’ Dots ice cream stands. You know what I mean, right? It was a little cart positioned right in the middle of the mall. It was manned by an obviously bored teenager. There were no little kiddies lined up for ice cream. The bored employee was reading a book, trying to stay awake.
Above the teenager’s head, a sign: DIPPIN’ DOTS - THE ICE CREAM OF THE FUTURE
My husband turns to me and says “Evidently, the ice cream of the future isn’t too popular in the present.”
God, he cracks me up. It was subtle humor and I bet many others out there wouldn’t find it funny, even. But every time I think of it, I crack up.
By the way, this happened maybe 5 years ago. I’ve gotten a lot of laughs out of it.
