The cowlick? FUNNY STUFF. The pointy 1970s shirt collars? What a hoot! The fountain-top hair do? What was Mom thinking???
The genesis of me doing my own hair isn’t much better - see that feathered bangs look? Oh my god, I cannot tell you how hard we worked to get that feathering look all down each side of our center-parted hair. We thought we were something else.
See that second to last picture? I was wearing that same shirt when I had my first kiss with Carlo. Sigh….
And yes, in case you were wondering, BRACES did come into my life shortly after that last picture was taken. I no longer look quite as much like a rabbit as I did back then.
